1 teen dead, another injured after shooting on Cleveland's East Side

CLEVELAND — Two 15-year-old boys were shot, one of whom was killed, on Cleveland’s East Side Friday night, according to the Cleveland Police Department.

Around 9 p.m., police and EMS responded to the area of Unwin Road and Louise Harris Drive where they found two 15-year-old boys who had been shot, police said.

EMS transported the two to MetroHealth Medical Center, one in stable condition and the other in critical condition. One of the boys had been shot in the head and the other had been shot in the hand, according to police.

After being transported to the hospital, one of the teens died from his injuries.

The shooting remains under investigation.
