CLEVELAND — Authorities have identified a 1-year-old child who was shot and killed Saturday evening in Cleveland’s Corlett neighborhood, according to the Cleveland Division of Police.
The shooting happened in the 14200 block of Rexwood Avenue around 6:20 p.m.
The shooting occurred inside of the home. Isaiah Martin was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
Detectives are investigating the possibility of an accidental shooting with the shooter being a person inside of the residence, according to police.
Members of the homicide unit responded to the scene. The incident remains under investigation, police said.
