CLEVELAND — A 22-year-old man was shot in Cleveland’s Forest Hills neighborhood and later died at the hospital Monday afternoon, a spokesperson for Cleveland police said.

Cleveland police said officers responded at around 12:30 p.m. to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center for a male gunshot victim who had been dropped off by two people who left the hospital.

The original location where the shooting happened was in the area of East 123rd Street and Ohlman Avenue.

Officers from University Hospitals Police Department stopped a vehicle with two males, a 24-year-old and 26-year-old, inside, and Cleveland police arrested them.

The shooting remains under investigation.
