Two shootings by people in a gray minivan were reported minutes apart on Cleveland's east side early Wednesday morning.

Cleveland police believe that the shootings may be related.

In the first, which happened at midnight, a 29-year-old man reported that he was walking on Hough Avenue when the gray minivan pulled up and several males got out, shot him and took his wallet and cell phone.

In the second, at 12:30 a.m., an 18-year-old man said that he was walking neat Ansel and Superior avenues when a gray minivan drove by and someone inside shot him in the chest and right arm.

An unoccupied stolen gray minivan was found within minutes at E. 84th Street and Superior Avenue. It was towed but no arrests have been made.

Anyone with information about these shootings is asked to call Cleveland police at 216-623-5318.
