CLEVELAND — Two teenagers were arrested Saturday morning after attempting to rob two Cleveland EMS workers, according to Cleveland police.
It happened around 7 a.m. at EMS Station 42, located at 4665 Stickney Ave.
Authorities say the two EMS workers had just finished their shift and started their cars to warm them up. When they went back to their cars, three teens were inside one of the vehicles and were in the process of stealing it.
According to police, a struggle ensued and one of the teens pulled out a gun but fled moments later. The two other teens were taken into custody at the scene.
The two teens have been identified as a 13-year-old male and a 14-year-old male. The teen who fled has been tentatively identified by police as a 13 or 14-year-old but hasn’t been taken into custody yet.
The EMS workers both sustained minor injuries in the altercation, police said.
No further information has been released. The incident remains under investigation.
