25-hour board game marathon raises money for Cleveland hospital

CLEVELAND — A 25-hour board game marathon was held in Cleveland to help raise money for University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital Saturday.

Tabletop Board Game Cafe partnered with North Coast Gamer Guild for the second annual board game marathon.

Participants arrived at Tabletop Board Game Cafe at 10 a.m., playing until 10 a.m. Sunday—25 hours with the extra hour tacked on from the end of daylight saving time.

The fundraising goal for this year’s board game marathon was $10,000. The group has already raised $10,549 with donations still pouring in.
