29-year-old man dies 3 days after Cleveland shooting, homicide investigation underway

CLEVELAND — A homicide investigation is underway after a man who had been shot in Cleveland died three days later, according to Cleveland police.

On Thursday, Nov. 5 around 2 p.m., officers were called to the 12200 block of Howard avenue for reports of shots fired.

Once on scene, officers learned that there had been a shooting and two victims had been transported to nearby hospitals by private auto, police said.

A 29-year-old man was shot in the neck and jaw, died from his injuries on Sunday, three days after the shooting, police said.

A 37-year-old man who was also shot remains confined at the hospital, according to police.

Cleveland’s Homicide Unit has taken over the case, which remains under investigation.
