3 injured in drive-by shooting in Cleveland, 2 suspects arrested

CLEVELAND — An early Saturday morning drive-by shooting resulted in three people being injured and two people being arrested.

According to Cleveland police, the shooting happened around 12:45 a.m. near East 30th Street and Payne Avenue.

A 35-year-old man was shot in the leg, a 25-year-old man was shot in the buttocks and another 25-year-old man was shot in the thigh.

The three victims were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment.

Following the shooting, authorities located the shooting suspects. Two people were arrested after a short chase.

The identities and charges of the two suspects have not been released.
