CLEVELAND — A 5-year-old child was struck by a vehicle in Cleveland’s Stockyards neighborhood Friday afternoon, according to Cleveland police.
Around 3:30 p.m., the child was struck by a vehicle in the 3100 block of West 56th Street. The vehicle then fled the scene, police said.
The child was transported to MetroHealth Hospital, but their condition is unknown at this time.
Police later arrested a 22-year-old man in connection to the hit-skip.
The incident is under investigation.
