CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority reported six employees have tested positive for COVID-19 this week.
The six employees who tested positive for the virus include:
- An equipment maintainer at the Hayden District who last worked on Nov. 4
- A shelter maintainer from the Woodhill District who last worked on Nov. 6
- A rail equipment maintainer who last worked on Nov. 9
- An operator from the Hayden District who last worked on Nov. 9
- An operator from the Hayden District who last worked on Nov. 11
- An equipment maintainer at the Paratransit District who last worked on Nov. 6.
Work areas, equipment and other areas of potential exposure have been cleaned and disinfected, and other staff members who had been in contact with the employees who tested positive were notified, according to RTA.
To date, RTA has had 53 employees test positive for COVID-19, 42 of whom have fully recovered and returned to work.
