9 people shot in Cleveland Father's Day weekend, including 14-year-old boy

Nine people have been shot in Cleveland this weekend, with the majority of the injuries taking place on Father's Day.

Saturday night, a male was shot in the chest in the 7000 block of Elton around 7 p.m. Two hours later, a female on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Kinsman Road was shot in the neck.

Around 2:45 a.m. Sunday, a 48-year-old woman was shot in the leg in the 18000 block of Euclid Avenue. She was taken to the Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital in a private vehicle.

Just five minutes later, a 14-year-old boy was shot in the leg in the 7200 block of Covert Avenue.

At 5 a.m., a 32-year-old man was shot near E. 140th Street and St. Clair Avenue and taken University Hospitals.

An hour later, a 70-year-old man and a 28-year-old man were both taken in a private vehicle to St. Vincent Charity Hospital after they were both shot in the right arm in th 3900 block of Community Avenue. Around the same time, two other victims were shot in the 14900 block of Lotus Drive.
