A man was found shot dead in a car in Akron overnight.
Police responded to the 800 block of Nome Avenue around 1 a.m. and found a man dead in a car behind a home.
The Summit County Medical Examiner said the man had multiple gunshot wounds.
Family members at the scene told newsnet5.com that a woman was with victim but was not known to the family.
Police were seen working in backyards looking for evidence along Nome Avenue between Bye and Peckham streets.
Family members at the scene also told newsnet5.com that the victim's brother was the victim of homicide a few years ago.
