The AMBER Alert issued out of Ashtabula for a 2-year-old boy taken by his father has been canceled.

Authorities said the child, who was taken by his non-custodial father, has been found safe.

They were last seen at West 37th Street in Ashtabula around 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Police said the child's father Jerome Noble is bi-polar and on schizophrenic medication. He threatened he will either "go to prison or die."  He told police will have to "rip the child from his arms."

Police said Jerome has a history of drug and alcohol abuse.

The Ashtabula Police Chief confirmed Noble has not been taken into custody.
