Amber Alert issued for 10-month-old out of Cleveland is canceled

UPDATE: The 10-month-old has been found safe. She was dropped off to her mother by a third party. The suspect, Demond Martin is still at large. 

Martin was last seen wearing a black and gold jacket with black pants and purple Nike tennis shoes. He is driving a white Kia sedan.

An Amber Alert had been issued out of the city of Cleveland for a 10-month-old girl taken around 4 p.m. Sunday by her non-custodial father. 

The child, Demiyah Martin was taken by Demond Martin after he followed the child’s mother in a vehicle, proceeded to cut her vehicle off to stop her, assaulted the mother and forcibly took the child. 

This incident occurred in the 4300 block of East 116th Street. 

Martin was driving a light colored Kia sedan, no license plate is known at this time. 
Demiyah was last seen wearing a brown coat.
