CLEVELAND — A bank robbery suspect was taken to the hospital late Tuesday morning after they crashed while fleeing the scene.

According to Cleveland police, the bank robbery happened around 10:30 a.m. in the 3300 block of Warren Road.

Authorities said the bank robber crashed into a semi-truck near East 123rd Street and Harvard Avenue. The robber was transported to University Hospitals for treatment.

The robber's identity and any potential charges have not been released.
