United States Senator Bernie Sanders will visit the Cleveland area Thursday for a rally at Baldwin Wallace University.
The Democratic Party presidential candidate will host the event titled 'A Future to Believe in Cuyahoga County Rally.' Sanders will discuss getting big money out of politics, his plan to make public colleges and universities tuition-free, combating climate change, and ensuring economic security.
Doors open for the event at 7 a.m. and it will be held in the Ursprung Gymnasium at the university, located at 136 E. Bagley Rd.
The event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are strongly encouraged. Admission is on a first come, first served basis.
For security reasons, attendees are asked not to bring any bags and limit what you do take with you to the event. Weapons, sharp objects, chairs, backpacks and signs or banners on sticks will not be allowed through security.
On-campus parking is limited.
