A car crashed into a house on Cleveland's east side Friday morning.
The crash happened on the 11620 block of Ely Avenue.
According to police, two civilian vehicles were involved in a chase nearby when one of the cars went off the road and crashed into the house.
Authorities said the car tore through the wall of the house and into the basement. The driver was transported to a nearby hospital.
The residents of the house weren't injured, authorities said.
