Case Western Reserve University has issued a shelter in place.
Police officers are investigating reports of shots fired near Ashbury Avenue and East 108th Street.
Officials are asking for everyone to stay inside.
The university is asking for people to only call 216-368-3333 if there is an emergency or if they have any information on this incident.
