Case Western Reserve student carjacked, robbed and assaulted while parking his car

CLEVELAND — A Case Western Reserve University student reported he was carjacked and robbed by four unknown males early Monday morning in Cleveland's University Circle neighborhood, according to a campus alert that went out to all students.

At around 4:20 a.m., a male student reported that he was parking his car on Bellflower Road at East 115th Street when he reported being carjacked, assaulted and robbed by four males armed with a silver handgun.

The group of males fled west on Wade Park, off-campus, in the victim's vehicle and in another vehicle driven by the group, according to the alert.

The victim's car, driven by one of the males, is a silver Mazda with Maryland plates. The three other males fled in a white, four-door vehicle.
