A 9-year-old boy was struck near the 2500 block of Central Avenue in Cleveland Thursday evening.
According to EMS, the boy was taken to MetroHealth in critical condition.
Cleveland police say the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. The driver was still at the scene when they arrived.
According to authorities, the driver has not been cited at this time and that the child sustained non-life threatening injuries.
