CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Animal Protection League is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day by lower adoption fees for pit bull and pit bull mixes at the shelter.
The “St. Pitties Day” event runs until March 17. All pit bull and pit bull mixed dogs will have a $17 adoption fee, in addition to the county licensing fee.
Normally, dogs more than five months old have adoption fees starting at $125.
According to Cleveland APL’s website, license fees vary between $10 and $21.
The adoption center is open on St. Patrick’s Day from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
