CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Animal Protective League is looking for a home for Zuri, a four-year-old pit bull mix and an avid Browns fan.

Zuri was brought into the shelter through the Humane Investigations Unit as part of a neglect case and started off very shy, but has since blossomed into a playful and energetic pup.

Cleveland APL said whether your game days involve grilling out and throwing the pigskin around or just hanging on the couch, Zuri will be right by your side no matter what.

Zuri gets excited to say hello to people and may jump up, so she may need to work on those manners as she settles into a new home, but that’s no different from most dogs.

Cleveland APL said Zuri needs a cat-free home where she can spend her day being active with her new owners and getting the love she deserves.
