CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Animal Protective League is looking for a home for its longest resident at the moment—a black cat named Mary.
Mary has been waiting at the shelter since April to find a home, Cleveland APL said.
Cleveland APL said that black cats and dogs have a tendency to get overlooked at the shelters and end up having longer stays in a shelter environment.
Mary loves attention, treats, and ear scratches, but can be a little crotchety at times, which can be excused by her ripe old age of 13, the shelter said.
To find her a forever home to retire in, a supporter sponsored Mary’s adoption fee.
