CLEVELAND — A group called “With Peace” is doing everything they can to make sure no one goes hungry for Thanksgiving this year by delivering hot meals to those in need.

“It’s something that, during this time of need and cold, is really necessary,” said With Peace President Josiah Douglas. “We have a responsibility as community members to stand alongside.”

The group is collecting donations and is accepting turkeys, side dishes, hygiene items, biodegradable soup containers, jackets, coats and blankets to distribute to those in need.

Donations can be dropped off at GALA Academy in Cleveland, located at 13442 Lorain Ave., on Tuesday or Wednesday.

If you’re in need of a meal, you can contact Douglas by calling 216-659-2184 or emailing president@withpeace.org or josiahdouglas1@gmail.com.
