A Domino's pizza delivery driver got the scare of his life Saturday night when two men carjacked him at gunpoint.
Roger Oran was finishing his shift around 11 p.m.
He had just delivered a pizza at a home at West 117th and Headley Road in Cleveland when two men ran up to him on the street.
"He had a gun. I didn't see it at first. He pulled it out and stuck it in my face. He said 'give me everything you got. Empty your pockets,'" Oran said.
The robbers demanded his wallet, phone and keys to his car. They stole his 2016 silver Kia Soul.
They also took $300 he collected, including his tips.
It wasn't until after the carjacking that his brush with death hit him.
"I wasn't scared until later. I just got numb. I was just thinking I hope he doesn't pull the trigger," Oran said.
Despite his ordeal, Oran said he’s going to keep delivering pizza.
Another Domino's Pizza delivery person was carjacked in January, also on the west side. That driver's car was then involved in a police chase and crash.
Cleveland police have not said if they believe the carjackings are connected. Oran's car was later found in Cleveland.
