Anderson was caught and taken into custody.
The standoff lasted for several hours and prompted the closure of several roads along the Tremont, Ohio City border. Police established a perimeter extending from Columbus Road to Willey Avenue and down to Train Avenue. In the search area was a day care, where witnesses say 50 children were inside.
