As officers arrived to the 3600 block of Bader Ave. on January 9, they found a 19-year-old man laying on porch with a bullet that went through his chest to his back.
Police say the victim had been driving on State Rd. when a gray Mitsubishi SUV pulled up next to him, then in front of him and began backing toward him. Then, a man got out of the SUV and began shooting at him.
The victim told police he got out of the car and ran away, until he collapsed on the porch where officers found him on Bader Ave.
Police immediately began tending to the victim's wounds. When EMS could not provide an estimated time of arrival, officers lifted the victim into the back of a police cruiser and drove him to MetroHealth.
