CLEVELAND — A man was found under a tarp in a yard of a Cleveland home by a group of construction workers Monday afternoon, according to Cleveland police.

Shortly before 4:30 p.m., officers responded to the 2200 block of East 89th Street for a deceased male.

Construction workers told police they were working on a vacant home when they found the body underneath a tarp.

Police are investigating this as a homicide. This matter remains under investigation. The cause of death will be determined by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner.
