CLEVELAND, Ohio — A woman was fatally shot on Cleveland's East Side late Wednesday morning, according to Cleveland police.
The shooting happened around 11:30 a.m. in the 2500 block of East 109th Street, just west of Artha Woods Park.
Authorities said that the woman, whose name and age are unknown, was found with a gunshot wound to the chest.
No additional information has been released.
