CLEVELAND — Cleveland police have issued a warning against celebratory gunfire this New Year's Eve.
Officials said celebratory gunfire is not only illegal, but it is also dangerous.
They continued by saying that in a densely populated urban area like Cleveland, the consequences can be devastating and that shots fired can result in injuries to neighbors or someone blocks away.
Police, fire, and EMS will be patrolling the city to make sure everyone stays safe this holiday.
