A Cleveland man is in custody after he told police he choked his roommate to death with a belt.
Officials say 30-year-old George Rauls called police around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, saying he choked his roommate at their home on West 111th Street.
When officers arrived, they found a man dead with a belt around his neck.
Police say it appears the roommates were in an argument that turned physical and Rauls put a belt around the victim's neck and strangled him.
Rauls was arrested at the scene.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner will determine cause of death. The name of the victim has not been released.
