CLEVELAND — A Cleveland Police Sergeant was involved in a multiple vehicle accident.
The crash happened before 6:15 p.m. at East 9th Street an Prospect Avenue.

The officer's car struck multiple vehicles, an RTA bus and a pedestrian.
Officials said the pedestrian is believed to have suffered bruising and abrasions.
No one on the bus was injured.
The drivers of the other vehicles reported no major injuries.
Officials said they believe that the officer had a medical emergency.
The pedestrian and officer were transported to Metro Hospital for evaluation.
