Cleveland police seek public's help in identifying vehicle, driver involved in hit-skip

CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are seeking the public's help in identifying the vehicle and driver in a hit-skip incident involving a pedestrian that occurred early Friday morning.

Around 12:50 a.m. Friday, officers were called to the area of East 130th Street and Kinsman Road for a report of a man in the street with serious injuries.

Once on scene, officers found a 43-year-old man who had been struck by a vehicle that immediately fled the scene.

The man was transported to University Hospitals for treatment.

Police reviewed city cameras and believe the vehicle involved is a newer model red Chevy Traverse SUV. The vehicle was observed traveling north on East 130th Street at Union Avenue.
