CLEVELAND — A man was arrested Friday afternoon following a SWAT standoff with Cleveland police in Ohio City.
Police converged on a house in the 3000 block of Monroe Avenue for a hostage situation following a fight.
Authorities said a man was holding another man and a woman hostage. Authorities were able to talk the suspect outside, and he was taken into custody without incident.
The male victim was transported to a nearby hospital, and the female victim was escorted out of the area by EMS.
The matter is under investigation. No additional information has been released.
