Cleveland women's shelter evacuated after bomb threat

CLEVELAND — The Norma Herr Women's Center in Cleveland was evacuated after a bomb threat was made to the facility, according to Cleveland police.

The center provides access to immediate shelter and assists women who are overcoming homelessness, trauma, physical abuse and substance abuse.

After investigating the threat, police deemed the building safe, cleared the scene and the women staying at the shelter were allowed back inside.
