In an effort to help Cleveland residents and visitors navigate the tumult of the Republican National Convention, Destination Cleveland is launching the hashtag #AskCLE to provide timely responses to their questions.

The hashtag will be monitored in real-time by a team of social media experts and volunteers at the #AskCLE Social Media Headquarters.

Friday, beginning at 1:30 p.m., the #AskCLE headquarters will be open to the public to launch and provide a walkthrough. Its located at 313 Euclid Ave, and street parking is available on a first come, first serve basis. David Gilbert, president and CEO of Destination Cleveland, and Corinne Allie, senior manager of interactive media, will headline the event, answering questions and leading the tours.

The initiative is coordinated between Destination Cleveland and the Cleveland 2016 Host Committee. The hashtag is meant to supplement efforts like newsnet5's RNC Survival Guide as a way to help residents and visitors navigate the Convention.

Destination Cleveland is Cuyahoga County's convention and visitors bureau. The nonprofit aims to spur economic impact and develop community vitality through leisure and business travel.
