CLEVELAND — A driver was transported after crashing his car on Wednesday on Cleveland's East Side, according to News 5's overnight news tracker.

The crash happened shortly after 2 a.m. at East 61 Street and Carnegie Avenue.

The car was traveling westbound when it hit the support column for a railroad bridge.

The driver was transported to the hospital.
