CLEVELAND — Five years ago a Cleveland Clinic employee was shot and killed while on his way to work to assist in an organ transplant operation. Five years have gone by and his murder still remains a mystery.

Stephen Halton Jr. was shot while waiting for a bus at a RTA bus stop on East 156th Street and Lakeshore Boulevard.

Over the years the case has grown cold, despite a tipster coming forward in 2017 with information about the morning Halton was killed.

This weekend friends and family of Halton will gather at the Bethlehem Temple of Praise Church, 2607 Archwood Ave., for a memorial service in honor of Halton. The service is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. Anyone is welcome to join.

The family of Halton told News 5 that they will have support and representation from the Cleveland Homicide Unit and CrimeStoppers.

If you know anything about Halton's death you can call CrimeStoppers or Cleveland Police.
