Four people escaped after their home caught fire in the 3300 block of West 43rd Street early Friday morning.
After firefighters brought the flames under control they helped a cat with oxygen at the front of one of the fire trucks.
The cat that received the oxygen appeared to be in good health after a few minutes.
No word on a cause of the fire.
