The Northern Ohio Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information leading to the capture of fugitive Jonathan Vargas.
Vargas is wanted for aggravated murder by the U.S. Marshals Service and Cleveland Police Department. On August 15, Vargas was involved in a verbal altercation with Julio Perez on Lawn Avenue. The argument ended in Vargas allegedly shooting and killing Perez, according to the Northern Ohio Fugitive Taskforce.
Vargas is a 28-year-old white male standing approximately 5'09" and weighing 140 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He is known to frequent the area of West 54th and Clark and may be driving a 2003 white Honda Accord with green rims.
