CLEVELAND — Dog owners in Cleveland looking for a nice way to spend one of the quickly fleeting summer days out with their furry friends now have a fun itinerary all mapped out for them.

Rover.com, a networking site for pet sitters and dog walkers, created a “Dog’s Day Out” guide for dogs and their owners to enjoy a day together in Cleveland.

Beginning at Loop-Tremont, pet owners can grab a coffee with their pooch inside the two-story dog-friendly coffee house or out on the patio.

Loop-Tremont is located at 2180 W 11th Street.

  • Mon-Thurs: 7am-9pm
  • Fri: 7am-10pm
  • Sat: 8am-10pm
  • Sun: 10am-6pm

After getting in some caffeine, a short walk up the street will take pet owners to Hi and Dry Bowling & Beer for some food and libations.

What’s dinner without dessert to follow it?

After feasting at Hi and Dry Bowling & Beer, owners can take their pup to grab a sweet treat at Tremont Scoops.

The ice cream shop offers many options for humans and their companions, including vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free ice cream in addition to frozen dog treats and dog-friendly peanut butter ice cream. Click here for information and hours of operation.

Finally, those spending the day with their dog can wrap things up with a walk through Lincoln Park on Starkweather Avenue.
