Crews fought an industrial fire on the city's west side Wednesday afternoon. The smoke from the fire was visible from I-71, as well as Cleveland Hopkins Airport.

The fire broke out at a recycling center on the 16000 block of Industrial Parkway. According to authorities, cardboard outside the facility caught on fire. The flames didn't extend into the structure.

It's not clear what started the fire.

News 5 has a crew headed to the scene.

Two firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion while battling the blaze.
