Cleveland Public Power is experiencing an outage, but the cause is not something you would believe.
The company said a mylar balloon release wreaked havoc on power lines on East 140th Street and Kinsman Road.
Nearly 2,000 customers have been affected by the outage.
Crews are on the scene and working to restore power to all those affected.
