CLEVELAND — The USS Cod is looking for young actors to appear in a World War II documentary.
They are searching for young men between 18 and 30-years-old who have short hair, no face tattoos or piercings and available from Sept. 14 to Sept. 24 starting at 8 a.m.
“The producers have asked us to keep the details a secret for now,” said USS Cod Director Paul Farace. “Since U.S. subs are known as the Silent Service, it’s easy for us to do.”
Actors aren't required to learn precise lines of dialogue, but will need to be able to follow directions from the director, according to Farace.
Actors will get paid $125 per day.
Free parking is available at the submarine, which is docked on North Marginal Road between Burke Lakefront Airport and East 9th Street.
Actors interested in this project should send a full head shot and contact information to Farace at pfarace@att.net or 216-408-6991.
