A maintenance worker is on leave after a close call at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
According to airport officials, the worker drove across an active runway Sunday night, passing just under a plane that was taking off.
Officials called it poor judgment made by one person and said safety was never compromised.
The worker, who has been on staff at the airport for 13 years, is now on administrative leave.
