Cleveland police are investigating a robbery incident involving a shooting that took place on Sunday around 11:30 p.m. in the 3500 block of East 146th Street.
Officers responded to East 140th Street and Kinsman Road for a man shot. The victim, identified as Ricardo Williams, 23, was found seated in a minivan with a gunshot wound to the buttocks.
Williams reported he went to the 3500 block of East 146th Street to buy a pair of shoes. Once he was on the porch of the residence, he was approached by two black men in their 20's who robbed and then shot him. Williams then drove to the gas station to call for help.
Police said Williams was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment. He was expected to be treated and released.
Officers said they toured the area but were not able to find any suspects.
Police said the incident is still under investigation.
