A 37-year-old man was found in a car with a gunshot wound to the head near MetroHealth Medical Center overnight.
Police were called to the 2100 block of Corning Avenue around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday for a report of shots fired.
Witnesses said they heard gunshots and then a crash.
Officers responding to the scene found a man in the front seat of a BMW SUV, dead from a gunshot wound to the head.
Police said the victim drove the vehicle a short distance after he was shot, hitting several parked cars.
The suspect was described as a black male. No other description is available at this time.
Homicide detectives and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office are investigating.
A 22-year-old man was also found dead in a car early Tuesday after a shooting on the east side.
