A man died from a shooting on Cleveland's east side Saturday night.
Cleveland police responded to a report of shots fired on East 135th Street Saturday evening around 6 p.m. According to police, witnesses said they saw the victim with several males in the area before hearing a single gunshot.
The men left the area immediately and the victim was discovered lying in a driveway. EMS transported the victim to University Hospitals where he died from his injuries from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Members of the Homicide Unit and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiners Office responded to the scene and the case is still under investigation.
