A man was shot and killed on West 101st Monday morning, according to Cleveland police.
Witnesses told police they heard a loud pop and then saw the victim outside. When officers arrived a man was lying on a walkway, not moving. He was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Homicide investigators and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office responded to the scene and the hospital to investigate. The incident is still under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at 216-623-5464.
