A search for a missing woman led to the discovery of an ill two-year-old girl and a marijuana grow operation in Cleveland Sunday evening.
Officers went to a home on W. 107th Street at around 7 p.m. as they investigated a missing woman. A man at the home agreed to allow officers to search the home for the woman and police found marijuana growing in the basement and a 2-year-old girl who was having trouble breathing.
The missing woman returned home while the officers were at the home and was made a suspect in the marijuana grow and child endangering case.
The child was taken to Rainbow Babies & Children Hospital for treatment.
Mark Mackey, the man at the home, and Amber Hawley, the missing woman, both 25, were arrested.
